ANDREW
REYNOLDS
Andrew has
always enjoyed public speaking and presentations and has enjoyed
many opportunities to grow in strategic communication. From
copywriting and press releases to strategic planning, Andrew is
your man. He's a "Google Maps" thinker, which means he sees the
large, long-term picture but can also zoom in to direct the
minor details. His specialties include public relations,
marketing & business strategy, product & brand management,
copywriting, and photo editing.
While
working with Venture Management, Andrew was able to direct a
team in assisting a local upstart with a marketing strategy
initiative. The goal of the project was to ensure that the
company was communicating proper image to its customers through
communication and service. An analysis of the company, its
competition, target customers, its services and products,
pricing schedule, and its promotions was completed and the
strategy was crafted from the analysis.
Another
of Andrew's projects was with another local company who had
suffered image problems due to media exposure at a less than
optimal time in their business life -- an action that ended
their viability at their first location. The company moved to a
different location and fixed the issues, but needed to know if
they could still make a go of the situation. A team was formed
and market research was conducted upon a sample of the target
audience through focus groups and surveys. The analysis proved
insightful, and the data showed that customers would still
patronize the establishment and that the company could eliminate
several inventory-intensive product lines.
Andrew graduated Summa Cum Laude from NC State with a BS in
Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing and
Finance and a minor in Accounting. His extra-curricular time was
filled with starting and maintaining the NC State chapter of the
American Marketing Association, where he served as Co-VP of
Communication ('07-'08) and Co-President ('08-'09).
When not at the
daily grind, Andrew enjoys practicing parkour, learning guitar,
and relaxing with a good book.
