HEMANT  BHAGWAT

Hemant Bhagwat is an SAP Consultant with an MBA in Supply Chain Management from North Carolina State University.

He has over four years of experience in SAP and Supply Chain Management. He has worked for Capgemini Consulting, Novozymes NA and Satyam Computer Services Ltd. Currently has served as a Graduate Assistant at North Carolina State University.

His professional background includes Supply Chain projects for Bank of America, Progress Energy, Novozymes NA; and SAP technology consulting for Unilever, Schneider Electric and Valvoline. His responsibilities included interacting with clients, understanding business requirements and designing technical solutions in various SAP modules such as Materials Management, Advanced Planning & Optimization, Sales & Distribution, and Netweaver XI.

While working at Novozymes, he designed and delivered a transportation solution for a liquid product for Novozymes resulting in annual $2 million savings.  He was an on-site technical analyst at Unilever, UK and played a key role in delivering APO upgrade project despite tight deadlines.

He has presented at the Supply Chain Resource Co-operative for his two projects: Shared Services Model for Bank of America sourcing group and Consolidated Work Management processes for Progress Energy. He was also part of team which won the Business Strategy Simulation competition.

He has in-depth experience in SAP: ABAP, Idocs, EDI, CRM; Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and HTML. Before pursuing his MBA, he earned his bachelor degree in Electronics & Telecommunications from Government College of Engineering Pune, India.

He has worked in UK, France, and India. He has been affiliated with APICS and ISM. He enjoys playing outdoor sports, hiking and watching soccer.
